Expired 2-day workshop: High-Impact Remote Instruction Strategies

There are no upcoming dates for this event.

We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

“How do we transfer what we already know about great instruction to an online environment?”

One of the more common themes we’re hearing from teachers this year is a feeling of uncertainty and even anxiety with the working environment. Many have felt a massive change in their role since shifting to a remote, or hybrid model of instruction. One of the more challenging hurdles has been building relationships as most interaction is now limited to a computer screen or through face-coverings.

This workshop addresses these concerns and includes descriptive content around engagement, building community, as well as planning and assessing, and why these elements are so important during chaotic times. These strategies help teachers teach, and help coaches build a toolkit or playbook, and are based on the research behind Jim Knight’s book High-Impact Instruction.

The content of this workshop will be the most powerful when attended by multiple team members:

  • Teachers: high-impact strategies to use in remote learning environments
  • Coaches: instructional strategies to add to your playbooks and toolkits that teachers can specifically use in remote classrooms
  • Administrators: strategies to share with teachers when you are in the instructional coach role

*Please note: If a workshop cohort does not meet enrollment minimum, registrations will be transferred to another offered cohort date of your choice.

*Please note: If you are interested in attending with a group of 18+ from your school/district and want to ensure you are experiencing this workshop as a team, contact us to register for a private session >>
